Freightliner / SelecTrucks Buyer’s Assurance will cover the following components during the first 60 days of
service:

All components currently covered under Select Used Truck Limited Warranty
coverage. (Normal warranty exclusions apply.)

o Air Compressor
o Brake Drums
o A/C System (dryer excluded)

WHAT IS BUYER ’S ASSURANCE?
Buyer ’s Assurance is a 60-day comprehensive coverage package with no deductible. It’s automatically included (on qualifying used Freightliner trucks) , at no extra charge, with every qualifying used Freightliner truck you purchase. Coverage begins the day you take delivery of your used SelecTruck. Buyer ’s Assurance offers you peace of mind by protecting you from unforeseen costly used truck failures. In the event a repair is needed, simply go to any of our more than 600 Freightliner, Sterling or Western Star dealer locations across the country. They will confirm your coverage, repair covered items, and you will be on your way. It ’s that easy. Additionally, in the case of
a Freightliner truck-down situation, you can call our toll-free Freightliner Roadside Assistance number for full repair coordination at the nearest Freightliner LLC service location.

Century Class Maintenance Reduction

Freightliner's extensive vehicle support system is also instrumental in positioning the Century Class S/T above the rest. From that first Century Class in 1995, the goal has been to assist the customer in every way possible so the driver can concentrate on hauling freight. We want customers to believe they need Freightliner as a part of their operations.

The Century Class S/T has achieved the goal of reducing vehicle maintenance costs by new technologies, maintenance systems such as ServiceLink, ServicePro, and ServicePro Technician, and improving numerous components.

Reduced Maintenance Costs

Components that help achieve the goal of reducing maintenance costs are:

Three-point hood mounting system
Chassis air and electrical line routing
Eaton Solo self-adjusting clutch
EquiFlo fuel system
Removable rear fairing panel
Synthetic lubrication
Radiator/Charge-Air Cooler

The Eaton Fuller 10-speed AutoShift transmission is standard on the CST120. This transmission optimizes performance while reducing clutch and transmission wear. The AutoShift transmission is used in conjunction with the SmartShift steering-mounted shift control for hands on the wheel shifting, which helps reduce driver fatigue and accident potential.

A wide variety of transmissions is available, including Eaton Fuller 9 speed, 13 speed, 15 speed, and 18-speed Autoshift. The Allison HD Automatic is also available.

The standard clutch for the Century Class S/T is the 15½" Eaton Fuller Solo XL, which is a 7-spring dampened ceramic adjustment-free soft rate extended-lube clutch.
