Our custom shop has repainted this big rig exterior with attention to detail. The orange on this truck is a pure color meaning no toners. Its retail price is $850 per gallon, but when you see it in real life it looks as if it would cost even more. The reason that I enjoy selling used equipment is because each truck can be very unique and that is the under statement of the year with this Kenworth W-900 that is for sale today. Let me explain why it is an understatement. If you was looking at this commercial truck when it was new you could expect it to be 115,000 dollars or more. I am offing it to the next person that calls for $64,175. Look all over and you will see that trucks that do not have the same appeal as this and are retailing for anywhere from $60,000-$72,000 and the are just W-900's with 350-375k miles. When you consider this truck you get a custom paint job that looks like it cost $10,000 plus the engine has been overhauled. The best part is the truck only has 375,000 miles on it. Why did we overhaul the engine with such low mileage? A good question that has a good answer. The answer is because we inspect our trucks to exacting standards. We do this because our name and your future rides on this investment. What we found during our inspection is that there was a clamp missing on the air cleaner after the air filter. We dyno'd the truck to confirm our suspicion and found that the crack case pressure was out of spec. We eliminated the turbo and compressor and still had high c/c psi. The next step was to pull the head and inspect the liners. We found that the liners had the cross hatching starting to wear due to dirt injection. We pulled all liners and rings and replaced them with Cat certified components. So in order to condense a long story you will be braking this engine in the way that you want it broke in. That is if you call before someone puts a security deposit on this truck to purchase it. We painted this truck not only for a truck operator, but the truck enthusiast. The truck has not been detailed when this picture was taken, but is getting the wheels, tanks, air cleaners, stacks, bumper, and steps polished October 29th, 2008. I put it in front of you with out the detail so you would have an opportunity to purchase it. I will update the picture when it is completed if it has not sold. We have also painted the tank straps orange and painted KENWORTH on the top fairing using a fade from the gun metal grey to orange and outlined in gloss black. This type of attention to details sets the entire truck off. The truck also has a set on 8 shiny New Virgin drive tires that measure 31/32. That's almost a full inch of tread depth with closed sidewalls and wide grooves to channel water.
